Next Plastic Surgery Terms of Use
Chapter 1 General Provisions
[Article 1 Purpose]
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to comply with and prescribe matters concerning the terms and procedures for using the services provided by Next Plastic Surgery (hereinafter referred to as the ”Hospital”) and other necessary matters as set forth in the Telecommunications Business Act and its Enforcement Decree.
[Article 2 Effectiveness and Revision of Terms and Conditions]
(1) These Terms and Conditions shall take effect upon being posted to the users.
(2) The Hospital may revise the terms and conditions in the event of a change in circumstances or for significant business reasons, and the revised terms and conditions shall take effect in the same manner as in the preceding paragraph.
[Article 3 Rules Other than Terms and Conditions]
Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations, if applicable.
Chapter 2 Membership Registration and Service Use
[Article 1 Definition of Member]
A member refers to an individual whom the Hospital deems suitable to be a member, who agrees to these Terms and Conditions, fills out the service membership registration form, and is issued an ”ID” and ”Password”.
[Article 2 Establishment of Service Subscription]
(1) A service subscription is established by the Hospital’s approval of the user’s application for use and the user’s consent to the contents of the terms and conditions.
(2) Anyone who wishes to register as a member and use the service must provide the personal identification information requested by the Hospital.
(3) If the Hospital approves the user’s application for subscription, the Hospital shall notify the user of the member ID and other information deemed necessary by the Hospital.
(4) The ID entered upon registration cannot be changed, and only one ID is issued per person.
(5) The clinic will not approve registration applications that fall under any of the following items:
A. When applying using another person’s name
B. When not applying with one’s real name
C. When false information is entered in the registration application
D. When applying with the intent to disrupt public peace, order, or good morals and customs.
[Article 3 Use and Restrictions of Service]
(1) In principle, the service shall be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there is a special operational or technical disruption for the Hospital.
(2) The service hours in the preceding paragraph may be restricted after prior notice to members if deemed necessary by the Hospital, such as for regular system maintenance.
(3) Among the services, consultation services may not be available 24 hours a day depending on the personal circumstances of the specialist medical practitioner providing the answers.
[Article 4 Service Fees]
(1) The service is free of charge for all registered members.
(2) If the Hospital decides to charge for the service, the timing, policy, and cost of the fee must be publicly announced on the service prior to implementation.
Chapter 3 Service Withdrawal, Re-registration, and Use Restrictions
[Article 1 Service Withdrawal]
(1) If a member wishes to withdraw from the service, the member must directly request termination from the operator via email.
(2) When applying for withdrawal, if you provide your name, resident registration number, ID, telephone number, and reason for termination to confirm your identity, the registration will be terminated after verifying that it matches the registration records.
(3) Membership cancellation is confirmed if you are unable to log in with your existing ID and password.
[Article 2 Service Re-registration]
(1) If a user who has withdrawn from the service pursuant to Article 1 wishes to re-register, the member can directly request re-registration from the operator via email.
(2) When requesting re-registration, if you provide your name, resident registration number, ID, and telephone number to confirm your identity, your re-registration will be processed.
(3) If you can log in with your existing ID and password, you have successfully re-registered.
[Article 3 Restrictions on Service Use]
The Hospital may terminate the service agreement or suspend service use for a specified period without prior notice if a member engages in any of the following acts.
A. In cases contrary to public order and good morals
B. In cases related to criminal acts
C. Planning or executing the use of the service with the purpose of harming national interests or the social public interest.
D. In cases of misappropriating another person’s ID and password
E. Damaging the reputation of others or causing them disadvantage.
F. In cases where the same user makes duplicate registrations with different IDs
G. Harming healthy use, such as compromising or attacking the service.
H. Violating other relevant laws and regulations or terms of use set by the clinic.
Chapter 4 Limitation of Liability Regarding Services
[Article 1 Consultation Service]
(1) The Hospital will make every effort to maintain security so that the consultation details of service members or users are not leaked to third parties other than the consulting doctor and service administrators. However, the Hospital shall not be held responsible for the disclosure or loss of consultation details in the following cases:
A. When consultation contents are disclosed due to a password leak caused by user negligence.
B. If the user deletes the consultation using the ”Delete Consultation” function
B. If the consultation details are disclosed or lost due to natural disasters or other circumstances beyond the Hospital’s control
(2) Attending physicians and specialists in each department may refer to the consultation details and answers to provide comprehensive and appropriate answers to the consultation requested by the member.
(3) The contents of consultations conducted through the service may be used for the following purposes after deleting personal identification information.
A. Academic activities
B. Authoring activities such as printed materials, CD-ROMs, etc.
C. Part of service contents such as FAQ, recommended consultations, etc.
(4) The answers provided in the consultation are subjective answers based on the medical knowledge of each specialist and do not represent the official opinion of the Hospital’s service.
(5) If a consultation falls under any of the following cases, all or part of the consultation service may not be provided:
A. In cases of repeatedly submitting requests for consultation with the same content
B. When applying for a consultation using expressions that go against common sense.
C. In cases of requesting consultation demanding a medical diagnosis
D. When applying for a consultation regarding treatment costs, examination fees, drug prices, etc.
[Article 2 Information Service]
(1) The content provided in the service is general and introductory, provided solely for informational purposes. The information or consultations provided through the service can never substitute for a medical diagnosis. The information or consultations provided through the service are by no means intended to substitute for medical diagnosis, medical care, or treatment. If you have any doubts or concerns about your health condition, you should consult an actual medical specialist to receive a diagnosis. Under no circumstances should you disregard medical diagnosis or delay seeking diagnosis, care, or treatment because of information provided by the service.
(2) The Hospital does not endorse or recommend any specific tests, products, or treatment methods mentioned in the service. All opinions expressed in the service are those of the respective authors. The Hospital assumes no responsibility for the contents of any documents or consultations provided through the service.
(3) Accepting the information of this service, or the opinions of specialist doctors participating in the service, or of other members or visitors using the service, is entirely at the user’s discretion. Therefore, the hospital assumes no responsibility for any damages, injuries, or other disadvantages arising from the use of any products, information, ideas, or instructions provided to members.
Chapter 5 Obligations
[Article 1 Obligations of the Hospital]
(1) Unless there are special circumstances, the clinic ensures that members can use the service.
(2) The clinic has an obligation to provide services continuously and stably as stipulated in these Terms and Conditions.
(3) The hospital shall process opinions submitted by members through prescribed procedures, following appropriate measures, and if the processing requires a certain period of time, it must notify the member of the reason and the processing schedule.
[Article 2 Duty of Member Information Security]
(1) The member bears all responsibility for the management of their ID and password.
(2) The member agrees to receive service emails sent as part of the service.
(3) If their ID is used unlawfully, the member must notify the clinic of this fact immediately.
(4) The hospital does not sell or provide personally identifiable information to third parties unrelated to the hospital without the prior consent of members or users. However, the hospital may use voluntarily provided registered information in the following cases:
A. Providing developers with information necessary to develop new functions, information, and services useful to members.
B. Providing statistical information (which never reveals the identity of individual members) about service members and user groups to advertisers
C. When used by the clinic to implement advertisements or services tailored to member and user preferences.
(5) Personally identifiable information (user name, ID, email address, etc.) may be voluntarily disclosed in communication spaces such as bulletin boards and chat rooms (hereinafter referred to as ”communication spaces”). In such cases, the disclosed information may be collected, correlated, and used by third parties, and you may receive unsolicited messages from third parties. Such actions by third parties cannot be controlled by the clinic. Therefore, the clinic makes no guarantees regarding the possibility of member information being discovered through methods beyond the clinic’s control.
(6) The clinic may use cookie technology for the convenience of using the service. A cookie is a small text file used by a website to identify returning users and to assist in their continued access and the provision of personalized services. Generally, cookies operate by assigning users a unique number that has no meaning outside the site that issued the cookie. Cookies do not infiltrate the user’s system and are not hazardous to the user’s files. The clinic cannot prevent advertisers or related third parties of the service from using cookies. If members or users do not wish to have information collected through the use of cookies, they can adjust whether to accept cookies in their web browser. However, the use of cookies may be necessary for the service (especially personalized information) to function properly.
(7) The clinic may mutually provide/utilize member information between the service or the clinic and business affiliate partners.
Chapter 6 Dispute Resolution
(1) Disputes regarding various issues related to the use of the service, excluding those stipulated in these Terms of Use, shall be resolved through mutual agreement as much as possible.
(2) In the event that a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the clinic shall be the competent court.
Addenda (December 1, 2016)
(Effective Date) These Terms and Conditions shall take effect on December 8, 2016.
